Marie's Tartar Sauce

Preparation Time


1 stalk, chopped fine celery
2 tbsp, finely chopped cornichons
1 tbsp horseradish
2 tbsp, coarsley chopped flat leaf parsley
1/2 tsp dry mustard powder
6 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon juice
to taste sea salt
fresh ground, to taste ground black pepper

1. Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl, mixing well together. Serve with fish. If not using right away, cover and chill in the refrigerator. I always like to make this a few hours ahead of time in order for the flavours to really meld well together.
