8 - 8.5 cups flour
1.5 T yeast
1 T and a 1/2 cup, separated sugar
3/4 cup, heated to exactly 110 degrees water
1/2 cup olive oil (extra virgin cold pressed)
for garnish poppy seeds
1 T salt
1/2 cup raisins per challah, if using, plumped in warm water and drained raisins
