Preparation Time15 minutes
|1.65 ounces||Dark chocolate (can substitute milk, I prefer 60-70% cocoa solids)||broken into pieces (I use the TJ 72% dark bars that are at the checkout)|
|2.5 cups||milk||(1% or higher)|
|1/4 tsp||Vanilla Extract|
|1/4 tsp or 1 stick||cinnamon|
1. Place chocolate pieces, milk, and cinnamon in a thick bottom sauce pan.
2. Heat over medium heat stirring well with a whisk about once every minute.
3. Once the chocolate melts, whisk vigorously for 30 seconds
4. Heat milk until desired temperature is reached. BE SURE NOT TO SCALD YOUR MILK IF IT STARTS TO BOIL, TURN THE TEMPERATURE DONE
