|2 tsp||ground cinnamon|
|4 tbsp||Butter||melt me!|
|2 tbsp||Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla|
|3/4 cup||sugar||I never use tons of sugar, and some people have complained. If you like it sweet, use 1 cup|
|6||large eggs||If you're a fan of duck eggs, 3-4 is all you'll need.|
|4 cups||whole milk||You can substitue almond or soy milk if you like. I would add a tsp of corn starch and an extra egg yolk if you choose to go lactose-free.|
|1 loaf||bread||Please read the intro! It tells you all you need to know about the right amount of the right kind of bread!|
|1/2 tsp||ground clove|
|1 tsp||pumpkin pie spice or allspice|
|1 cup||fresh blueberries, cranberries, or sliced bananas||I think it's best with bananas.|
1. Preheat your oven to 375 F. In a large mixing bowl, whisk your eggs, then spices, milk, sugar, and vanilla in that order.
2. Tear your bread into small, bite-sized pieces. Using a large wooden spoon, slowly stir them into your milk/eggs/spices, etc.
3. Grease a medium glass baking pan. Place mixture in pan and drizzle the melted butter over it. Add fresh berries and turn over gently with a fork.
4. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a crispy, medium golden brown on top.
