Preparation Time30 minutes


1 cup chopped nuts
12 oz. Chocolate Chips
1 cup brown sugar
40 saltine crackers
1/2 cup (2 sticks) Butter

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Cover rimmed cookie sheet with foil and spray with Olive Oil Pam or other nonstick coating. Place saltines in a single layer on foil.

3. In a saucepan on a stove, melt butter and add brown sugar, stirring constantly until it is melted and simmering. Remove from stove and pour over crackers. Bake for 8-10 minutes until bubbly and thick.

4. Take out of oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow to stand until chocolate chips are soft and then spread over crackers until you have a single flat layer of chocolate. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and refrigerate. When cool, break into small pieces and serve.
